The Tartan Company is a small selection of homewares, baby gifts and ladies accessories. Each is individually made, here on The Isle of Skye. Therefore each piece is unique.

We often use one of our own designed and registered tartans, of which we have two. Our Harris Tweed " Fraoch's Grian" has been a huge hit since we first launched it. Fraoch's Grian, is the Gaelic for "heather and sun." It is pronounced frooks gree-han. The colours reflect the light blue of the skies, the purple of an August Heather clad hillside, the yellow of the iris, and the gorse bush bright yellow blooms.

Of course our baby blankets are still a best seller, and seem to be so popular are they are personalised, cosy and, I am told wash well too.
