We are a small, seasonal café based in the village of Dunvegan on the west coast of the Isle of Skye.
Many of our visitors come to Dunvegan to visit the ancesteral home of the Clan Macleod, Dunvegan Castle. The castle is the oldest continually inhabited castle in the UK and sits in a wonderfully unrivalled location on the edge of Loch Dunvegan. It has been home to clan chiefs for over 800 years.
Our café is open daily serving traditional Scottish cooked breakfasts, through to morning coffees, lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals.
We source our meats locally from Lochalsh Butchers, our venison is from a local Skye gamekeeper and our fish is from the local fishmonger Andy.Race.
We buy coffee from The Inverness Coffee Company and from Skye Coffee Roasters. We also have a great selection of teas from The Edinburgh Tea Company.
We also make our own jams and chutneys. There is a deli section in the café where you can buy the teas, coffees and jams we serve, along with other locally produced speciality foods.
